From Vision to Site Realisation
Core 5-Step Process
A structured, transparent, and engineered prefabrication process designed to minimize site risk, streamline logistics, and ensure exceptional build quality for every timber and hybrid project.

01: Initial Brief & Site Evaluation
We begin by understanding your project scope, intended use, spatial requirements, and site conditions. During this phase, we assess transport access, crane feasibility, local planning parameters, and budget expectations to establish the optimal prefabrication route (2D vs 3D delivery).

02: DfMA & Structural Engineering
Translating concept designs into DfMA (Design for Manufacture and Assembly) production drawings. Our engineering team optimizes structural node connections, timber–steel hybrid details, thermal performance, and MEP integration, ensuring every component is designed for precise factory fabrication.

03: Factory Precision Manufacturing
Manufacturing takes place in a climate-controlled factory environment, protected from weather delays. Engineered timber elements, wall panels, and volumetric modules undergo rigorous CNC machining, assembly, and quality inspection before flat-packing or module protection for transport.

04: Logistics & On-Site Assembly
Prefabricated components are sequenced and shipped directly to your site. Our logistics planning coordinates flat-bed transport and crane logistics to ensure efficient, safe, and minimal-disruption installation on prepared foundations—drastically reducing on-site build timelines.

05: Handover & Long-Term Support
Following structural positioning, waterproofing check, and final inspections, the project is officially handed over. We provide full technical documentation, maintenance guidance, and ongoing support for future project scaling or expansion.
Why Off-Site Prefabrication
Controlled Quality & Precision
Manufactured in factory conditions using advanced machinery, ensuring straight lines, tight tolerances, and consistent structural integrity that traditional on-site builds cannot guarantee.
Schedule Certainty & Parallel Workflow
Site foundation work and factory manufacturing occur simultaneously. Weather delays on site do not stop factory production, reducing overall project turnaround times by up to 50%.
Sustainability & Waste Reduction
Precision DfMA cutting minimizes raw material waste in the factory. Responsibly sourced timber acts as a natural carbon sink, providing a low-carbon construction alternative for eco-conscious developments.
Frequently Asked Questions

1
Q: How do we determine whether 2D panels or 3D modules are right for our site?
A: During Step 01, we analyze your site access (road width, overhead clearance, crane setup area) and project layout to recommend the most cost-effective and practical delivery option.
2
Q: Can DESONG handle shipping and global logistics for overseas projects?
A: Yes. We package all components to international shipping standards and coordinate logistics routes, export documentation, and containerized transport for seamless delivery to your destination port or site.
3
Q: Who manages the site foundation preparation before the prefabrication components arrive?
A: We provide complete foundation layout and connection shop drawings during Step 02. Your local builder or contractor prepares the foundation according to our specs, ensuring seamless alignment upon arrival.
